UFT has partnered with market leading businesses, MISCOwater, Tesco Controls, The Henry P. Thompson Company, Shape Incorporated, EES and Newman Regency Group, Southwest Valve and Equipment, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota Pump Works to create a national provider of process, pump, automation & control, and other equipment solutions. And we’re just getting started making strategic partnerships to provide clean water across the country!

Matt Hart

  • Matt Hart joined UFT as Chief Executive Officer in November 2021
  • Prior to UFT, Matt was the President of the West Division at SiteOne Landscape, where he was responsible for a $1.18 P&L and acquiring and integrating 25 add-on companies
  • Matt also held various management roles at Atlantic Irrigation Supply and Rain Bird Corporation and began his career as a college basketball coach
  • Matt received a BA & Masters degree in Kinesiology from Long Beach State University

Josh Boone

  • Josh Boone joined UFT as Chief Financial Officer in December 2021
  • Prior to UFT, Josh was the CFO at NESCO Specialty Rentals, where he was responsible for M&A, capital raises and all accounting & finance functions
  • Josh also held various CFO and finance related roles at Patrick Industries, Pretzels
    Incorporated and Brunswick Corporation
  • Josh received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Eastern Kentucky University and an MBA at the University of Houston

  • Scott Caringella joined UFT as Chief Commercial Officer in August 2023
  • Prior to UFT, Scott was the Vice President of the Southwest West Region at SiteOne Landscape Supply, where he was responsible for a $450M P&L and integrating acquired companies
  • Scott also held various leadership roles at John Deere and Rain Bird Corporation
  • Scott received a Bachelor of Science degree at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and an MBA at Boise State  University, College of Business and Economics

Mark Spear

  • Mark Spear joined UFT as Director of Talent & People in August 2022
  • Mark was VP Human Resources for Ansira a marketing and advertising agency. Prior to that he served in other HR roles at Excentus Corporation, The Insource Group, and Matrix Resources.
  • Mark received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University Rawls School of Business

Cara Burris

  • Cara Burris joined UFT as Corporate Controller in January 2022
  • Prior to UFT, Cara was the Interim CFO and Global Corporate Controller at RTI Surgical and has prior experience as Corporate Controller and other accounting related roles at Custom Truck One Source, Rieke, Zimmer Biomet and Johnson & Johnson
  • Cara received a Bachelor of Science degree at Bucknell University and an MBA at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business

Kraig Wilson

Vice President Central Region
  • Since September 2023, Kraig Wilson has been leading UFT’s Central Region, serving as Vice President leading with distinction and expertise
  • Before joining UFT, Kraig excelled as the Area Manager for the Southwestern Mountain states at SiteOne Landscape Supply, showcasing exceptional leadership through managing a $230M P&L, developing a robust landscape distribution model, and identifying strategic acquisition opportunities. 
  • Kraig's professional journey is underscored by a series of impactful roles at esteemed organizations such as John Deere and Rain Bird Corporation, where he showcased his prowess in technical sales, marketing, and leadership.
  • He solidified his academic foundation with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Purdue University, further augmenting his credentials with an MBA from the prestigious Jack Welch Management Institute at Strayer University.

  • Navin Chandra joined UFT as Vice President of IT in March 2022
  • Navin was the Head of IT & CIO at RTI Surgical and has prior experience in various IT-related roles at CVS Health, Wipro Technologies, Hewlett Packard and Talisma Coporation
  • Navin received a Bachelor of Engineering degree at Bangalore University and an MBA at
    ‘the MIT Sloan School of Management

  • Jim was a Senior Manager of M&A at Culligan International Company and has prior experience in corporate development at Federal Sign Corporation and investment banking at Lincoln international
  • Jim received a Bachelors of Business Administration & Finance degree at the University of Notre Dame

Chris McCampbell

  • Chris McCampbell assumed the role of Director of Collaborative Revenue at UFT in January 2023.
  • Before joining UFT, Chris served as the CEO of MISCOwater, which became the cornerstone acquisition under HIG, laying the foundation for the UFT platform.
  • With a distinguished career spanning three decades, Chris is a registered Professional Civil Engineer and holds a Class A General Engineering license.
  • Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering and Management from Purdue University.

Scott Marshall

  • In January 2023, Scott Marschall assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer, ushering in an era of visionary leadership characterized by a commitment to innovation and expansive growth initiatives.
  • Scott's journey within the organization commenced in 2003 when he joined the esteemed capital sales team, swiftly rising through the ranks to assume the pivotal role of Division Manager in 2013, a testament to his exceptional leadership acumen.
  • Prior to his esteemed tenure at MISCOwater, Scott distinguished himself as a consulting engineer at prestigious firms such as Wright Water Engineers and Brown & Caldwell, culminating in the respected attainment of a professional engineer’s license, underscoring his commitment to excellence.
  • Scott's academic foundation is anchored in a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the esteemed University of Pennsylvania, where he collected a four-year tenure as a letterman on Penn’s Division 1 wrestling team, showcasing not only his academic prowess but also his exceptional dedication and achievements in athletics.

Tim Shaw

  • Tim Shaw has held the esteemed position of President at The Henry P. Thompson Company since June of 2009.
  • Prior to this role, he cultivated twelve years of invaluable experience as a consulting engineer, amassing over two decades of expertise as a manufacturers’ representative in water and wastewater treatment equipment.
  • Tim is a proud alumnus of Ohio Northern University, having earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is duly recognized as a Registered Professional Engineer in both Ohio and Kentucky and is esteemed as a member of WEF and AWWA.

  • Ed Keenan assumed the presidency of Newman Regency Group in March 2024, having previously served as a Capital Sales Representative since March 2020.
  • Before joining Newman Regency Group, Ed devoted 15 years to the consulting industry, specializing in strategic planning and innovative design for water and wastewater treatment facilities. 
  • Ed holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso earned in 2005 and has been a Licensed Professional Engineer since 2009, showcasing his commitment to excellence.

Matt Streeter

President
  • Since founding Engineered Equipment Solutions (EES) in 2003, Matt Streeter has remained at its helm as President, driving continual growth and innovation.
  • Before EES, he led sales at Aqua Aerobic Systems, doubling territory sales through strategic management gaining diverse experience and a wealth of industry knowledge.
  • He holds Bachelor of Science & Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering (Environmental Emphasis) from Iowa State University.
  • As a registered PE in Iowa and Grade IV wastewater operator in Iowa & Nebraska, Matt's credentials reflect his expertise and commitment to excellence.

Dave Burrell

  • Dave, a founding member, has served as President/CEO of Southwest Valve for the past 23 years
  • With 35 years of invaluable experience in the waterworks industry, Dave brings extensive expertise to his role
  • Prior to his tenure at Southwest Valve, Dave held prominent positions in engineering and corporate leadership at distinguished manufacturing companies such as Hydro Gate Corporation and CMB Industries/FEBCO/Bailey
  • Dave’s professional journey also led him to the oil patch, where he contributed as a drilling engineer in the Rocky Mountain basin 
  • Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum and Mechanical Engineering from the esteemed Colorado School of Mines, complemented by an MBA from the University of Colorado-Denver

  • Kari’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Texas State University

  • Todd Fierro assumed the role of President of Tesco Controls in March 2024 following his immediate impact to the company’s process, profitability, and operations metrics after being appointed as Chief Operating Officer in November 2023 
  • Before joining Tesco, Todd served as President of Henderson Products, where he guided the company through a three-year growth by crafting a visionary "North Star" strategy for the organization.
  • As a seasoned leader with extensive experience in diverse manufacturing sectors, including automotive and aerospace, Todd notably served as Plant Manager for Ford Motor Company’s 3rd largest North American facility and spearheaded the expansion of operations at Bloom Energy. 
  • Todd holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University located in Detroit, Michigan
